EKAM: Club Nights

Aside from riding bikes, which is what we like to do, we also meet up once a month at Sandyacres Sports and Social Club near Ashford to talk about all things bikes, and much more. This is normally on the third Wednesday of each month.

Club nights are a chance to meet up and chat, but we also invite guest speakers to provide presentations and we hold a variety of other events.

Some guests in the recent past include Kent Police to hear their perspective on road safety, the Trail Riders Fellowship to talk us through ‘Green Lane’ riding, Kent Fire Service to provide their excellent Biker Down training, to give us insight on how to deal with the worst of scenarios, and Michelin PLC to talk about all things ‘tyres’.

Other events include evening trips to Bike Dealers to sample different motorcycles, a Christmas ‘Do’ and an ever-popular summer Fish and Chip Run.

Advanced details are published in our monthly electronic club journal eNEWS@EKAM, sent to all club members, whilst the programme for the year is held on our calendar accessible on the website and on our planning tool Tracker.

Where does EKAM meet?
